Tran develops and implements digital and print communications strategies to help drive engagement around advocacy, professional learning opportunities and various special projects and events.

As a regular organizer with VietQ an LGBTQ Vietnamese collective, Tran co-founded the first LGBTQ Vietnamese conference in Washington state. Most recently, Tran served as the communication coordinator for Soar, where they spearheaded the organization’s rebranding effort. At School’s Out Washington. Tran is most passionate about using communications and marketing as a tool for social change. They hope to amplify and center the voices of historically marginalized communities, particularly Queer and Trans Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
